John Aguiar is a Konkani poet, writer, media person and lyricist whose songs have been broadcast over the All India Radio network specially in Goa and on CDs.

• While on deputation to the office of Chief Electoral Officer as a Media Officer had managed the press, organised press briefings and issued authority letters to media persons to facilitate media coverage of the elections.
